GPS Map Spinning

Driving with GPS Map in my 2014 Encore and the car symbol starts to turn left and shows us going off road. After a couple blocks the car symbol jumps back to the street we are driving on, only to start making a left turn again. On the interstate the map spinning is so distracting it has to be turn off.

Sounds like a bad GPS antenna or something wrong with the navigation system. Testing would have to be done to determine the cause.

the date and time keeps resetting after powering off car and returning later or the next day. AUTO SET is set to OFF-MANUAL and it cannot be changed. so i lose android auto everytime. have to go thru setup everyday. Software information does not have software upgrade. What is the fix?

That wasn't my post but my clock started showing 2012 and I agree it my be related, although the drunken spinning map has been going on for some time and the 2012 date just started.

Did you leave the car for the dealer to check it or this was just a conversation?

As for the date/time setting- I didn't see any way to manually change the date, it was off by several days or a year I think.. anyway I changed it to auto set, confirmed that it was correct, then changed it back to off. I may go back and leave it on auto, that was the first day i had it and didn't want to rack up any Onstar charges, not realizing I'm still in the free trial....
