Hello, I am new to the forum but have learned a lot from all the posts. Thanks to all of you. I have a 2004 Lesabre Limited. When I bought it, one year ago, the drivers side heated seat did not work but the passenger side did. After reading about this issue on the forum I thought I must have a broken element wire. When I took the seat cover off I found that the original bare heating elements had been replaced with a heater kit, GM part number 25730800, which consists of a foam pad with heating elements inside the foam. The pad is stuck to the seat foam with some type of adhesive. So I moved the heated seat control module GM part number 25737275, the one under the seat, from the passenger side to the driver side and then the drivers side seat heated nicely on both the hi and low settings on the switch on the door. I though my problem was fixed although my passengers would be out of luck. 🙂 Three weeks later, it stopped working...no heat and no hi/low lights on the switch. I then went to a junk yard and got another module and plugged it in and everything worked fine... had good heat and the hi/low lights worked on the switch. Three more weeks later it stopped working. Any ideas about why my control modules are so short lived?? Sign me off as "Perplexed in PA"
