2009 Lacrosse with dual climate control. I am not getting any heat from the vents. Both heater hoses are hot. I am fairly certain it is a blend door issue, but I would expect to have heat on at least one side. I remember a few months ago that something with the HVAC wasn't working right, then with a key cycle or something, I heard a "kerthump" and things worked as normal. The mode selection seems to work fine, as it cycles from floor, vent, defrost. What is confusing is that I would suspect one actuator to go bad, not both driver and passenger. Which would lead you to think it's the heater core being plugged, but the hoses are both the same temp. The passenger actuator seems to be easier to get to, so maybe I'll start there.

Well, I flushed the heater core tonight and I now have heat. I changed coolant less than 4 years ago, when I did the I tale gaskets. I put a radiator in last year, but I think I strained the coolant with coffee filters that time around. When I did intake gaskets, I remember crap in the intake that looked like the previous owner added to seal a leaking coolant elbow. I'm guessing that crap is still in the system.
