I've been driving a 2004 LeSabre for about 11 yrs. I was swapping out relays for a no start situation and I noticed that some of the relays get hot under the back seat. It doesn't seem normal to me. Has anyone ever noticed that? Thanks.

Not cranking, or cranking without starting?

Not knowing the vehicle history or if maintenance is up to date start with the basics; Check for codes, spark and fuel.

Disconnect the MAF sensor and see if it starts
If no spark at multiple cylinders, the ICM is probably bad
No fuel, bad pump or clogged fuel filter

Is the starter turning?
How many miles on car?

It is cranking and I checked for gas at the pressure valve and got gas out. I removed the electrical cable from the ignition control module and cleaned it and the car started right up. Idled it for 15 min and started up again. So I don't really know what the problem was. Maybe the fuel pump sticks. Also I noticed the relays under seat get hot to the touch. Is that normal?

Sounds like you had some oxidation at that connector. You could spray some electrical contact cleaner in there for good measure.

Once you clean the connection terminal with contact cleaner, don't forget to apply a small amount of dielectric grease before re-connection. 😉

HiSTORY:100k miles now. 4 yrs ago leaking inline gas filter Replaced. Also 4 yrs. had a sudden stalling real rough running starting problem code 306. Ignition mod & a coil replaced.
2023 it started again and no crank this time. Starter replaced, coil & ignition mod.replaced. 8 months later stalling and skipping. With map or maf code. Mech replaced sensor, didn't help and left orig in. I Replaced the batt ( I think bad Batteries the main problem all along) runs much better. Recently: cranks no start, no codes. Got gas from pressing pressure valve. Removed connector to ignition mod. Sprayed wd 40, & started up. But I don't like the loping idle. I will replace air intake filter and gas filter.
Don't trust to take it too far. Has cost me $400 for tow. That's about it.
