Buick Ownership
2019 Regal TourX Essence
Hello,

I've been lurking on these forums for a short time now while considering my next purchase and decided to buy a '19 TourX Essence, 55k mi, Summit White, forget but essentially loaded.

I honestly never thought that at 24 I would be interested and buy myself a Buick, yet here I am, mostly out of my own research. My previous car was a '15 Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0T that had the dreaded Theta II engine (bought at 108k mi mind you; not a sound decision in retrospect, 180k mi now). It was a decent ride with good output and generous legroom (which is why I mainly bought the car being compared to my high school car that was an '02 Honda CRV, 325k mi and still rocking).

My search had gone from AWD sedans to wagons to hatchbacks, and finally, back to wagons. Overall, I looked at Corolla Hatchbacks, Crosstreks/Imprezas/Legacys/Outbacks, Mazda3s, Golf Alltracks, even some Arteons. But decided on Buick because I loved the smooth drive and just all-around value for my "lifestyle" and what I want and plan to do (could've gone off-roading in an Outback but do I currently? No. Would I? Yes.)

Grandparents also have a history w/ Buicks/GM and have generally liked them from the beginning. '94 Park Avenue Ultra, 350k mi sold/traded/idk; '11 Lucerne CXL, 90k mi currently and their main transportation. Not the main focus of my reason to buy but more as secondary opinion, back-of-mind.

Looking forward to seeing and commenting on other posts. Won't be wholly active but maybe some pics here and there. 🙂
