For starters, understand the best part about this problem is that I am only cleaning my car to sell it ASAP. I have cleaned my car several times before, but this is the first time cleaning the engine bay with a pressure washer.

So, against my better judgement, I took some advice from my Dad to power wash my Buick 2003 engine bay. I am selling the car and this sounded like a good easy way to clean my car, right? So, I power washed the engine bay, now I have electrical problems including the following:

1) My car starts even if I just slightly turn the key, with NO pressure at all, as opposed to the normal which is 1) If you turn a little bit the interior displays come on 2) If you press harder you start the ignition
2) I sometimes (after restarting the car) I can see my PRND321 gears, but cannot see the odometer, or the orange box around the odometer. Other times I cannot even see the PRND321.
3) My fuel display, mph, and engine temperature guague are all not working.

I do believe I all of the sudden have a potentially very serious electrical problem, can anyone provide any insight?

1. Have you waited at least 24 hours to let it dry out?
2. Have you open the engine compartment fuse box and checked how wet it is and if water is present gave it time to dry out?
3. Do you have any blown fuses in the engine compartment fuse box?

PHEW! Your 24 hour comment was spot on, I just started it and it now seems to be functioning fine.

Thanks for the reply!
