HELP! Sound system/heat buttons

I have a 2010 Lacrosse that I just love. I have the HK stereo and it is awesome! In the last couple of weeks, the Tone button stopped working. Next, the temperature control button on the driver's side stopped working. After that, the button that allows you to change where the airflow goes stopped working. WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?! 😡😕 I have tried disconnecting the battery but I see that you need to leave it unhooked for 30 min, I only did it for about 5.

Does anyone know what is causing this? PLEASE tell me I'm not going to have to spend thousands just to enjoy the normal things that everyone else's car does! 😎

My family worked in the auto industry and I bought American cars up until 1986, then went to foreign. My last American car was a Pontiac 6000 and all the computerized stuff went bad on it. For all the years I bought foreign I never had any problems. When I come back to American (and the most expensive car I ever bought), it seems that the same problems from the 80's haven't been corrected yet.

So why didn't you leave it disconnected for the 30 minutes then? Try it and see what happens.

Have you had your infotainment system serviced by chance? It almost sounds like it could be the wiring harness behind the dash panel. Are you willing to remove the face place and see if the connector(s) are by chance not snapped in properly or maybe pinched?

Unbelievably, one day a couple of weeks ago all buttons started working properly. And I didn't do anything to make it happen, but I'm so grateful!😕😎😎🙄
