Hood won’t close. Help

I turned the car off and had that random buzzing sound, so I opened the hood to try to pinpoint the area.

now can’t close flush the hood. It only closes to the latch.

help.

Did you try to spray some WD40 on the latching mechanism, wait for a bit then try to close?
It might sounds stupid, but I had same thing on my wife's Venza.

The secondary latch moves fine if I push on it with a screwdriver.

mid I push far enough it will close itself and then I release it with the lever in the cabin.

I also had someone pull and hold the release lever up while I pushed down on the hood and then they let go.

no difference.

mid feels like when I push on the hood down it sits a little hi in the center compared toby the fins.

Nothing stuck under hinges? These stupid explosive safety things?

Are you pushing the hood closed or holding it about 6 or so inches up and letting it drop?
