The side bodymolding on my 2003 PA Ultra is stained with dirt/grime.

Soap and scrubbing do nothing to shine it up and it causes my cat to look kind of shabby.

Does anyone have any tips on how to clean this and remove the stains and dirty look it has?

Thinks In advance.

On a small area you can try Westley Tire bleach or check the camping RV section of retail stores for vinyl cleaning products and again test in a small area. Not knowing what the discolored or stains are it's best guessing on removal, others may offer additional suggestions.

I use Goof Off or similar adhesive remover. Acetone may work

i would not use acetone on a painted part
I would suggest a applicator pad and some compound that fits the description. those are solid plastic with paint on them right? if its painted like the car then I would not want to scratch it but you could always use polish , but im guessing its sap, tar, dirt, thats just built up. they make products that are for that. if its not painted but just that color plastic, then you can use trim stuff or something probably

Yes they are plastic with paint on them.

WD-40 CAR USES:

I get that its likely fine on the clear coat, but the area of the door and the fact its not metal panel make me say not wise. Plus, other products are simply better for the job and made for this purpose. Dont spray wd40 on modern car strut mounts, modern door seals. or on modern carpets. dont use it for locks unless youre cleaning the lock to be lubed after cleaning it. Do NOT lubricate hinges with wd40, you can use it to cut the dirt and stuff on them and then use a proper lube. do NOT use it near or on wiring, mostly interior wiring. exterior wiring is likely to have the right insulation to be ok.
The last one, I would use deep creep for but if you wrap it in plastic the wd40 will work since it wont evap

I bought a used trim piece from a scrapped Regal out of the rust belt, though in my case it was black. It required a light sanding before installation which dulled it significantly, while the pieces already on the car had more of a shine to them. Spraying it with a heavy coat of Meguiar's Hot Shine tire spray shined it up enough to look like the others; and it still looks fine a few years later (this stuff will stay on the driveway for years if over sprayed!). Looks like those pieces on your car need paint or replacement.

So I tried something and was hugely successful. My wife made a paste out of some laundry detergent one if her friends sells by some company called Norwex.

I wiped it on the molding with a rag and let it sit for about 30 seconds and then wooed it off with a damp sponge, the results were amazing.

Below are some pictures.
