The AWD should always be on.

You have 4WD if:
If you see a place in your car that says 2H, 4H, 4L, then 4H is what you drive in when towing or in snow.
4L is what you drive when towing something going up a steep hill slowly.
2H is what you drive in the rest of the time.

AWD is always On.
4WD can be turned on and off.
