I need help with the alarm system.

For several weeks, the Buick alarm started behaving strangely for no reason. It starts sometimes for a minute, stops by itself. Then sometimes it starts again. I don't know what to do with them. I changed the battery which was 8 years old but without result. There are nights when nothing happens and then it starts🤔..and I dont know where the system sensors are located

The same thing happened to me. I thought it was the battery, but after replacing it, it didn’t work. I’ve seen some posts on other websites suggesting it could be the hood latch, but I haven’t tried replacing it yet. I still have the problem—any suggestions?
