Remove the rest of it and save the money lol.
Where did you buy them? Let me know how how they match.Find the car at a "self-serve" salvage yard. The letters are easy to take off using a screwdriver to pry them. Now I am not sure how to clean the old adhesive and what new adhesive to use to stick the missing letters to the trunk.
I actually have the exact same problem. I am missing the K and the X from CX. I have the used replacement letters already. I just need to stick them back on. I paid $5 for all the letters off the trunk of a Buick Lucerne.
Ok. Thanks for responding.I bought it at a Kenny U-Pull in Canada. A salvage yard where you go get parts from cars yourself. The letters are identical since I got them from another Buick Lucerne.
Thanks! That's what I'll do.Heat, blow dryer or heat gun, to loosen the glue and peel off or use fishing line behind the sticker in a saw like motion.
