so im purchaseing a used 99 century with 190,000kms on it but the owner lost the keys. so far ive wired all 15 different resistance code values and drilled out the lock cylinder so the steering wouldn't be locked for when I do manage to get 'er started. what im wondering though is when im testing the resistors do I have to do the relearn procedure for all 15 of them or should it just turn over when the right code is in line. also I was wondering if the security light will constantly flash if the wrong resistance is in line. using code #2 I noticed that the security light flashing became solid after a few mins but when I turn the lock cylinder the car still wouldn't start however all the other resistor packs I used kept the security light flashing and it never did go solid.any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. cheers.

This is a long shot - but try pulling the -NEG battery cable before each new resistor attempt. The last key try might be putting the TDM in a bad state and even if you put the correct in after a bad try it may be disabling the system.

Just an idea...

awesome thank you ...that does make sense...gonna giver a try...cheers
