Why does my headlight not work? Changed bulb still not working, fuse appears to be okay

Could be corrosion in the connector, harness is damaged, it's not getting power or bad bulb. Check if the old bulb if it still works then it's time to visually check and move on to a meter to troubleshoot. Here's a search list on the forum regarding this problem, unfortunately some posters never followed up if the suggestions worked.

I had the same issue with replacement headlight pods after about a year after installation. I finally took it to my independent mechanic and they traced it to a broken wire. All is good.

I helped a friend with this problem. We changed bulbs, checked voltage, wiggled wires, and checked fuses under the hood. WE narrowed it down to the BCM (Body Control Module). So while locating that unit above the the OBD socket above drivers left foot there were more fuses and relays in that area. We checked fuses labeled BCM1 BCM2 and found a 15amp fuse blown. After replacing that blown fuse the left low beam headlight began to work again and problem solved. It was strange that just the drivers side low beam was all that fuse appeared to have control over. Friend was happy and I learned something new that day. All for 1 15amp fuse. Cheap fix!
