I have a 2011 Lucerne with 31,000 miles on it. I have a new set of Michelin Defender tires on it and have a ride vibration from 53 mph thru 62 mph. This vibration was there before the new tires were added. Three different tire stores have balanced the tires with various comments, but none have eliminated the vibration. The last vendor re-balanced three times - first with a standard rotating balancer; second with a drum-driven, expensive balancer; and third observed the tires rotating on a lift and rebalanced one tire seen moving a bit. This reputable vendor said the tires are not the problem and to check with the dealer. The dealer says there should be nothing wrong with only 31,000 miles. Can anyone suggest any rotating item on my car that could produce this vibration so I can ask the dealer to address my problem? Thanks.

i had the same issue with mine and my Michelines. Went through the same things you have, several balances, several different places. I even went to a Toyota dealership because I heard good things. Nothing worked. Then I went to a place that had a Road Force Balance machine. It is expensive but it did the trick.

Polarzak - the expensive balancer used was a Roadforce balancer. No improvement. Thanks.
