- 2006 Buick Lucerne CX
Greetings. I am replacing a rear wheel hub on a 2006 Buick Lucerne CX. I have not been able to find a reliable source for the torque specs for the four bolts securing the hub. The only information in print that I have found is at showmetheparts.com/timken/, where they show a 52 ft-lb torque spec for the rear wheel hub bolts. But, there is a comment next to the spec that reads, "If Torque Specs are in the box use those instead of these instructions." Is this torque spec of 52 ft-lbs correct?
(In looking up the torque specs on another vehicle, a 2000 Toyota Avalon, the same comment appears, there, too, so I assume it is their standard cautionary note. The torque spec for the Avalon are 59 ft-lbs.)
Also, can anyone recommend a good source for a repair manual for this vehicle?
Thank you.
