Is it ok to clean MAP sensors on 2007 Buick Lucerne CXL V6 3.8L? Do you spray MAF sensor cleaner inside MAP sensor and let it dry before installing it?

Why are you trying to clean the MAP sensor? It is a piezoelectric sensor that measures Manifold Absolute Pressure which is a totally different type of sensor from the Mass Air Flow sensor which measures the amount of air that flows over it and thus is very critical to controlling how often the fuel injectors get pulsed.

So no need to clean it?

Inspect and clean if necessary also replace the PCV while apart if it hasn't been done. Depending on mileage and/or the last time the MAP sensor has been looked at oil film can possibly be in the sensor area.

Never seen one go bad. MAF is where you should focus.

If you don't have a scanner/code reader then I suggest that you get one and check your fuel trims and MAF readings.

I do have and the FT trims at iddle are ST 0 LT -10. MAF sensor was replaced and the PCV.

Adjusting Fuel Trim for Optimal Performance
To adjust fuel trim for optimal performance, you may need to replace a faulty MAF sensor if that’s at the root of the problem. After installing a new MAF or even a stock MAF, it’s essential to reset the ECU to allow the system to recalibrate itself. You might also want to check the air filter and all hoses connected to the MAF to ensure there aren’t any leaks or restrictions. Regularly monitoring your fuel trim can help you catch issues early, enabling a better experience behind the wheel.

......the above was from a Google search regarding MAFs and fuel trims.
