My 92 regal power seat won't move forward

My power seat in my 1992 Buick Regal Custom won't move forward. It will move up down and back but not forward. What do I do about this?

Can you force the seat forward enough to unbolt the rear bolts? Once you get the front and rear seat bolts out, you'll be able to see if there's something jammed in the seat track. If there isn't, it must be your switch. You can get another from the jy, or try just spraying it with carb or brake cleaner. (after unplugging the power, of course).

If you can't get the seat loose, disconnect your power seat fuse and try spraying the switch in place. Might work. It's probably just gunked up.
