Mystery Loop

So I just lifted my front arm rest to look for something and noticed this mystery Loop in between the seats (attached to drivers seat). Anyone know what this is?

I'd wager that it works in concert with the center seatbelt.

Although I'm not sure, and it's raining way too hard for me to go out and see what mine looks like.

Makes sense . Funny how I never noticed it before . I wonder if my 98 LeSabre had it being that it had the same seat configuration 🤔
