2012 Regal premium 2
Hi! Thank you in advance for any help that you guys can give!
My 12 regal premium 2 left blinker started blinking fast because the back left light was out, I thought I was replacing it with an led bulb when really I was replacing the brake light. After I did that though the left AND the right were both blinking fast. I just replaced the blinker lights in the back and their both still blinking fast. I have check the front blinkers and the ones on the side mirrors and everything is working as it should now.....but both blinkers are still blinking as if there is a light out! What could be the issue???

Not clear on if you did replaced it with a LED, if so it's called hyper flash it a common problem with LED on turn signal. Depending on how involved you want to get it will need a resistor on the turn signal wire only. If you have front and rear turn signal LED both will need a resistor.

Yes I did replace them with LED. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond to my question! Without me putting the resistor on the blinker wire how would I know if the light is burnt out or not? Do you know?
Thanks again for your help!

Some LED's have a +- contacts, no way of knowing as it's something that it's manufacturers dependent, so if the light isn't working properly try rotating the LED 180° when putting in the socket. Checking the light operations before buttoning everything back up is the easiest way to confirm everything is good to go.

There are LED that supposedly have built in resistors but I can not confirm that they all work, also there a flasher module that resolves the problem again it's something I'm not sure about.

All LED bulbs have polarity. Look for a colored dot near one contact and align that side with the non-black wire in the connector. As said, ALWAYS check for proper function before reassembly.
I used the more expensive Philips LED bulbs for the backup and license lamps (what an improvement to the backup camera at night!) and have not had any kind of problems.
Go back to regular bulbs to diagnose if there is a problem.

There are reversible polarity LED automotive lights which can be installed in any direction, but another that's another day subject LOL.
