i bought a 2016 buick regal gs on monday from the dealership i work at and the same night i bought it it threw itself into limp mode and wouldnt go over 50 mph. it keeps doing this and i think its the TQ but im reallyt not sure. it has a pretty bad shudder when driving and not inbetween shifts just when accelerating and it conitnues to go into limp mode and the dealership refuses to fix it, please give any advice if you can.

Do you have a check engine light and a code to post?
You didn't check the car before buying it?

MelsRegal is right.
Do you have a Check Engine Light when this happens?
Also you need to plug in to the OBDII Port and then let us know what Codes it's giving you.

If you don't have an OBDII Scanner you can take it to any AutoZone, Advance Auto, O'Reilly's,
NAPA, etc... they will check it and print out the codes they received for you.
Some of these places will give you a list of parts and/or sell you the parts you need for the repair.
They may also offer you a list of nearby auto shops that can fix it for you if you don't/can't
work on your own car.

Not sure I'd trust the Dealership you purchased it from (and work at) to give you this information.
Obviously you couldn't trust them to disclose this information to you before the sale!
In this day and age it's a good idea to take an OBDII Scanner with you when buying a used car,
even at Dealerships.

Do you work at a used car dealer that don't even offer a 30-day warranty after purchase? If so, you have a BIG problem!
