Obselete parts

I have a 1988 Buick Slyhawk in great condition that my mother gave my daughter for her birthday. I am looking for some very hard to find front speakers. Part # 22530564. GM says they are out of stock and obsolete. They were in several GM cars in the late 80's and early 90's. New aftermarket speakers won't fit without modifying the dash in some way. I found one on eBay. Every other place I have ordered from has canceled my order because they don't actually have this speaker. Anybody know where else to look. I have just about exhausted my Google search options. Thanks.

my friend had the same problem about speakers, he looked it up on the Internet speaker repair shop that might help

I received on from an ebay used part dealer. He only had one. I installed it this weekend and it works fine. I am going to order the repair kit from www.newfoam.com or http://www.simplyspeakers.com/ . Both places have a kit that will work. I am going to repair the one I replaced and the remaining damaged on in the car. Maybe I will then sell the extra repaired speaker on ebay.

I have one of these, I should have two but have to find the second one. They are originally out of a 1991 Sunbird. They are 3 1/2 inch. I have to go through some stuff in the basement, but I'm pretty sure I'll have both. Your welcome to them!
