Oil leak

So I bought a 2007 Buick Lucerne cxl for my winter car. It has 177000 miles on the 3.8. It has an oil leak on the passenger side kind of looks like maybe possibly coming from just above the oil pan gasket. The carfax show the timing cover gaskets and the intake gaskets done with in the last 20,000 miles. Any recommendations on where this could be coming from. The oil sending unit is also dry.

Use a UV oil leak detection kit from a parts store

As mentioned UV - but crank seal, oil pump and the timing cover even if replaced could all be suspects.
