Operating Temp ?

What is the proper operating temp for a 87 GN?
Mine seems to run 210- 220
I do live in Fl so it's very hot.

most gm used to run 180 thrmostats. the newer stuff usually runs 210 thermostats. so you might be about right. as long as it doesnt overheat you are fine i think.

I cant seem to find a temp gauge on mine??????

My gn has a 160 thermostat and runs around 170. Make sure your fan is working 220 seems a little hot but nothing too serious

The gn never came with a water temp gauge just the idiot light in the dashboard that is hooked up to the sending unit at the front of the intake manifold.
