hey so I'm new here. ok about a week ago I went to my neighbors house to visit and I notice this old buick sitting in the back of his yard I never noticed before. and being a knowledgeable car guy and having already owned a few buicks in my life time I asked him if it was for sale since I was looking for a car at that time. (got in a divorce wife took the car left me with a Chevy suburban)
He told me it had been parked for 2 years all it needed was a battery an air filter and a oil change as far as he knew, he said name your price I said $100 and he went for it!!!
so I rush to Walmart buy the filter and battery for around $70. head back over there change the filter hook up the battery spray a lil starting fluid and BAM!!! she fires up like she was parked yesterday. so after I got that out of the way I just had to change a flat tire put a donut on and bodda boom bodda bing I was driving home in my new Buick that I picked up for $170 🙂
so what I'm wanting to know is you think this is going to be worth it to fix up? it has quite a few cosmetic flaws I.e. windshield needs replaced, both side mirrors replaced, new turn signal housings, replace tail lights it's gona be a bitch it's all one piece, ac needs recharge, needs 2 window motors, needs new radio antenna old one broke off, new wiper blades, horn fixed, and a bunch of the bulbs are out, 2 hubcaps, that's all I can think off the top of my head, and it's got 163k miles!!!! but it still runs good I drive it on the dirt roads out here. so tell me what you think??? I need to know what I'm getting myself Into
