I’ve had this code pop up twice now. It’s an overboost fault. It’s a 2103 Buick Regal 2.0. I’ve called dealership and they said I need an actuator. Believe I’d like to start with the solenoid for the waste gate. Can’t find a part number and dealership said there isn’t one. Has anyone experienced P0234 and been able to solve the issue?

Dealership said they could not narrow down the problem. Basically told me until the car throws more codes don’t know without spending hours trying to pin point. Bull shit IMO. I have a replacement solenoid and more than likely will buy a wastegate actuator and replace solenoid at same time.
