Recently every morning when I go to start my car the battery is dead and needs to be charged to go to work. I finally got tired of this and went investigating. What I ended up finding is the drain is on the fused circuit powered by fuse 41 helpfully named Bat #2. My question is what all is powered by Bat #2 so I can track down my short.

to be clear are you talking about MAXIFUSE batt 2?
If you are not talking about it, clarify which fuse and what fuse box.

If you are talking about maxifuse 2 (Maxifuses are large, fuses are mini-ATC I think or something like that fuses.)
there are 2 places maxifuses are found, both underhood. They are like fusible links and they feed from them into other fuses mostly.

If you car has memory options, try pulling the circuit breaker for power seats
If your car doesnt or you maybe have issues with your fob/RAP working or interior lights at all, go for the MEM/RFA fuse instead. do you have a burnt out radio fuse ever?
my bad, it also seems heated seats are tied in somewhat. are your heated seats working/stay on, that would do it lol.

That was exactly it the breaker was hotter than a pistol now I only have a .43 amp draw with the ignition off. Thank you very much

no problem, if you go to auto store you should be able to find one otherwise it should have a PN on it. if not above all, dealer or I can find the pn.

Actually, my bad, i should indicate that something is likely drawing on the circuits. your seat switches, are they in good shape. You may try unhooking the driver and passenger seat connectors under the seats to disconnect the switches. they run in off, run, etc as opposed to heated seats which only on key on, and the memory seat switch on the drivers door may have something wrong with it, but you have determined the breaker was hot. in this case, I would disconnect the driver seat harness and if it goes out, maybe lift up the seat cushion and unhook the memory seat module(Under the driver seat) from the seat harness. if you go out you know its that.

your CB should be replaced since its been working overtime for a while now, but it should still work for testing

I’m just going to leave the circuit breaker out the seat is in a fine spot and it’s just a old clapped out beater of a car. She’s at 230,000 miles so I can live without all of the features

I mean, you cant use your seat adjustments. if you unplug your seat or the passenger youll probably find it
