Hello everyone I have a 2000 Buick pau and I'm intrested in adding a CAI , just wondering is there any company out there that makes lots for these buicks? Or can someone give me step by step info on DIY kits on the exact model.
Thanks!

Total waste of time & money. You can gut your existing air box and install a new Wix air filter, which will flow more CFM than the engine can handle.

I couldn't agree more. The companies that make and sell these should be ashamed.

Where CAIs do help a little bit is a vehicle with numerous power adders, and typically they only help at higher rpms, like on a race track. Furthermore those guys aren't using an affordable kit, they're running customized units they've spent hours fine tuning for that one specific vehicle, just to get a couple of horsepower.

I your not going to do any modding, about the only thing this will do for you is let that pretty S/C whine sound a little louder. I used to have a write up, but it's gone too. I found this one which is the same setup as ours, except under our airbox is an oval hole that ducts into the dead space in front of the fender. I cut a hole in the bottom half of the box to match it and weatherstripped it back in for a good seal. Be warned, you do NOT want to go through deep water if you do this! http://www.gmforum.com/performance-brainstorming-96/97-park-avenue-gut-not-gut-airbox-271327/page2/

I agree, Cold Air Intake is probably a waste of money. I put a K&N in my '95 PAU and it helped. You can also trim the inlet of the airbox CAREFULLY, not cutting in a manner you may expose the motor to unfiltered air!
You would be better off spending it on a smaller Supercharger pulley to help raise your boost.
Companies that deal with performance items for both the 3800 and 3800 s/c (mostly Series 2 and 3)

Andy's AutoSport has a big selection of wheels. Hope this helps!
