I once read that a 1998 Buick Park Avenue 55/45 front seat will fit my 1951 Chevy 3100 truck.
I have called many auto salvage yards with no luck finding this seat. I am hoping the Buick forum might help this search.
I have a lower back condition which put me on this hunt to find a powered adjustable seat. Also this seat will allow me to carry two passengers.
I tried a 2004 PA but that seat is just too big and was told that 2000 to 2005 are all the same seat.
Are there other years that have the same seat as the 1998 PA?
The condition of the leather is not critical I plan to have them recovered.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions?

Actually, the 97-05 are all the same seat. However, the Ultra models had an option for a small 10% center console and 45/45 front seats. The configurations were 55/45 & 45/10/45. The overall length of the configurations is the same. So if you need the whole seat, neither one would work if the 04 PA did not work. Could it have been the LeSabre or another model that was said to fit?

BTW...car-part.com links parts to salvage yards across the country. Shipping an entire seat would be by freight which has its difficulties. Maybe you could find one local if you could find the right seat you need.

I am always buying various seat pads to use. Some I like, other not so much.

Wish I could help, but I've only had an '01 and '02.

On another note, I'm a tall guy and one of the things I love about the PA's is that the seats do not cave in at the top (something almost all of the newer cars do), making it very comfortable for my back and shoulders. A few years ago my employer switched to Taurus' for company vehicles. I had a '12 Limited and I have to say the seats were very comfortable...closest thing to the Park Avenues that I've seen in the newer cars. They are buckets, so not exactly what you're looking for, but might be a nice option for you.

Had another thought...if you do not use the 10% console, but just the two bucket seats, maybe that would work.

The most comfortable seat I have had was in my 92 Deville. I am retiring my 94 Park Ave because the seat kills my back in less than 10 miles.
