how much trouble is it to install new spark plugs in a 2000 buick regal ls.?

My 2003 Regal was pretty easy to do. the back 3 are a little tough but not as hard as alot of people claim.
the hardest part is to get the boots off of the plug. On mine it seemed to work pretty good to give them a 1/4 turn then pull hard. The plugs come out pretty easy from there. Just take your time and don't get frustrated and it goes pretty well.

I have replaced my plugs twice in my 2000 LS. (224,000 miles on it) I found taking the two front engine links loose and prying the engine forward so I can put a pin in the second hole in one of the links, gives just enough extra clearance in the back to change the plugs without hassle.

where are the links? and how do you move the motor. i am not a machanic, but i will try. thank you kindly

you can't miss them - they are the black things from the very front above the radiator going back about 10" to the engine. one of mounts on the engine has a second hole that when you rock the engine forward, you can slip a bolt in it and the link, to hold it there. The engine only comes forward about an inch but it makes a difference. You have to pry the engine forward to release the tension on the bolts, and then to the second hole. Be careful not to let it slip when doing this. I wedge a block of wood between the firewall and the back of the engine somewhere for added security. Don't forget to put it back, with both bolts and to tighten them.
