Question about Heater hose connectors

2002 Buick Regal
New Buick owner here I have a 2002 Buick Regal LS and I'm swapping out my heater hoses and connectors and I am wondering if I should go with the aluminum or plastic connectors
 
Aluminum is the best solution to the failure prone plastic elbows!
