I have a 2013 turbo that is giving me electrical problems. When I use the turn signal or hit the brakes or almost anything that would draw current, it reboots my radio and radar detector like the car was just turned on. It also dims the headlights. It's not every time but after driving 400 miles today it became very common the last 100 miles. I had some issues a while ago with it being dead after not driving it for a week but haven't had that issue lately (also haven't let it sit for more than a week since then). I've been looking stuff up online about being dead and it sounds like a bad diode in the alternator.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Take it to have a battery load test and alternator output test. All brick & mortar part stores offer that service for free.

This literally just happened to a guy who works for me. He has a '15 Silverado but when he uses turn signal the radio reboots. I suggested battery he brought it in they checked it and alternator and said it was fine. They said likely a short/electrical gremlin, which is what I figured it'd be but hoping not. Thankfully he has a warranty so they'll dig thru it all to find it. I can let you know what they find as answer

Yea I'll have to take it to get tested.
Jwmuscat-please do let me know.
