Does anyone know if the rear camera can be calibrated by the dealer? I have found that my guidelines are off about 10in to the driver side of the car. Makes me park crooked! Or would if I hadn't caught it pretty quickly and now use my passenger mirror as the for backing into parking spots.

Have other folks found the guidelines to be off center?

Camera is a few inches off center.

@bespinct Even though the camera's physical location is off center, the guide lines should be correct. I would take it to the dealer, as they may have to "re-learn" the camera's position or reflash the module.

Unfortunately they didn't find anything to adjust/reset the guide lines. They also claim to have checked another TourX on the lot that exhibited the same thing.

I would question their findings, just because another vehicle has the same problem doesn't mean it's correct it means yours is not the only one.

Most automotive manufacturer's have a calibration method either through the Infotainment centers, service tool or camera directly. If the camera has the built-in lines then it needs to be calibrated or replaced. If they, the dealer, claim it's normal it's time to take it to Buick GM directly.

As with other issues in the forum posts on these vehicles, it's a unkown problem until it's brought up to GM's attention. If you read the others very few dealers were helpful in getting it resolved, the canned "they all do that" is a line to resolve it at the dealer to get the customer on there way.

I never noticed if my lines are centered, or not. I just look at the overall picture. I have the right side mirror dip for parallel parking. I use the picture and the mirrors, not the lines
(I can parallel park all my cars without looking at a camera display. I often parallel park like this, just so I don't forget how. - My dad taught me correct).

I don't even know how I"d use the camera for parallel parking. I don't even use the mirrors, it's all muscle memory, and postion of the car in front.

I never had rear backup camera...so not use to using yet.
Do use when backing and need more depth perception.

You have nothing to worry about. Took close look at mine. It's the same as yours. (They are all like that). Easy to see on mine when I pay attention because although my bumper protector is centered, the lines and bumper protector appear off center.

That's the way it is. Live with it.

I'm having the same problem and haven't figured it out yet. But it's not just backing up. It's happening when I park normally. I've never had issues with any of my other cars. This is the first Buick I've ever owned. What's up Buick?
