Rear Spring Insulators

Howdy, everyone

I’m finally getting around to replacing all the original suspension parts on my 1995 Park Avenue Ultra, but I’ve hit a snag finding replacement parts for the rear springs.

The springs themselves are easy; their insulators? Not so much. I finally tracked down a set of lower insulators (they’re listed out as being for a ‘92 Olds 98; but it’s a C body car, so it should be fine), but I can’t for the life of me find the upper set.

The original GM part number is 25535044, and they were discontinued a few years ago. There’s no aftermarket replacement that I can find.

If anyone knows a solution, I’m open to suggestions. Even if it’s a part not originally meant for this car, it’s all the same to me.

Try a search for 'coil spring insulators' and see if you can match the size to something more generic. Look at the images of the search too.
I found ours were completely worn through on our '96 Century when I put station wagon springs on the rear. The small diameter of the wire/coil had readily worn through the rubber. Fortunately, I had grabbed the set from the wagon. They were in much better condition with the larger contact area of the wire/coil.
