I've got a 2000 Regal LSE and it's got a fair number of issues in various spots. I'm having trouble narrowing down the cause, and I need some outside input.

Symptoms: rough idle, misfiring, no ABS, no TC, no cruise control, no fuel gauge, no odometer, no A/C. It also won't let me shift out of park for a few minutes after I start it.

Notable issues: before the fuel gauge died, it would not read properly. I've seen plenty of reports about how bad those little floats can get, so I'm sure it's that. There's also a big split in the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator, which I'm pretty sure is the cause of the misfire; I can't get any OBD2 scanner to read tho, so I'm wondering if the PCM is bad. Easy enough fix, either way. The big concern is the wiring; it comes out of the firewall on the driver's side, over the driver's side strut mount (which is where my wires have been chewed up, damn squirrels) and then down into the bottom part of the engine (I think it's called the transaxle? I'm still familiarizing myself with the intricacies of engines, forgive me). I don't know what to call it, I don't know what it does, and I don't know where to get a replacement. I can't find it on any wiring diagrams, or else I don't really know what to look for. Any help on this matter would be appreciated! Just want my baby to work again 🙁
