Remove Center Console

Newbie here, car won’t shift and I don’t have $$ for mechanic. I’m attempting to remove the center console, or even just the bafel around the shifter & I can’t find any help on how to remove it. I was thinking I might just need a panel puller, but I’m not sure. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Shifter is locked in what looks like park, but on dashboard it shows Reverse

The car won’t turn over, bought starter got it on and still nothing, then neighbor said shifter is locked in reverse

If the gear is stuck in reverse then yes it won't start...possibly your transmission cable broke but that would not cause the shifter to be stuck in Park.
