Well, I'm back!

Right after New Year's 2025, I wanted to get out of my leased 23 Encore GX Select in case I was going to have to find a job that required more driving due to an impending layoff. I got into a 2024 GMC Terrain, which is a nice vehicle, but over time, its downsides became apparent.

Yesterday, I got with my sales guy to help me get out of the Terrain. I left the dealership with a Brilliant Red 2026 Buick Encore GX Sport Touring that was also very well equipped. As I was driving home, I felt I made the right decision.

The GX is more nimble, quieter, and has better power delivery. I will miss a couple of things about the Terrain, such as the interior/cargo space and the rear seat vents. At the same time, I was able to get several thing on the GX I didn’t have previously, like the surround vision camera and the Bose speakers.

A little give and take - but it sounds like you're in a good place with the GX. I'm highly confident it'll take good care of you for years to come. 🙂 Enjoy Buick ownership!
