So I've been hearing that the clips for the corner trim are nearly impossible to replace. So how does everyone replace the trim without the clips?

I would love to get some ideas from others who have been in this situation before.

If any of your clips are still there but do'nt hold the molding on, put a glob of silicone sealant around the clips stick it on tape it down for a day and there you go. I did this on my wagon and they have never moved! 😀

Howdy-

The small spring clips on the trees beak and will not rehold the trim piece. The best solution I have found is to snap the trees off. Buy 4 of the longest trees you can find (ribbed like the door clips on our doors), and and push them through from behind the plastic clip (where the old trees were positioned) and use some expoxy to secure them. Once the expoxy has dried, push the entire trim piece back into place. I did this and it has been fine for some time now. It certainly will not be going anywhere and if you ever needed to remove the piece again you could but you would need to reexpoxy fresh trees in the slots.

Hope this helps.
