Hello, new member here. Just bought my second buick century in my lifetime. 2003 from Florida, with 77k miles and not rust...would like to keep it that way. Does anyone have any sites to get rocker panel covers? For under the doors. I know with having a century before that theses love to rot out. And being in Michigan I don't want that to happen to this one. My thoughts are either buy some plastic or whatever covers or apply a protective paint, (bed liner, undercoating, etc) any help would be greatly appreciated.

I personally don't see a point in covering them if you don't have any rust. You'd just be trapping moisture and would get rust eventually anyway.

I have a 99 with no rust because the car gets rust proofed once a year and I spray FLUID FILM twice a year all around the base of the car, I use maybe 1 can a year. I also wash the car more frequently in winter (I'm in Toronto). Just remember that rust starts from the base of the panels under the car. If you have no rust there now, keep straying FLUID FILM (or any other similar product) right at the edge of the panels and you should be fine.

Having said that, the century is know for this problems 99% of them I see on the roads have rust there, its enviable. Just enjoy your ride, rust will catch up to you no mater what.
