Custom Phone Mount
Hello! I am a recent lessee of a 2013 Turbo Premium I. I traded in my 2001 300M for 2500 and pay 230/mo for this bad boy. I have done various small modifications to my vehicles in the past but I am taking it slow with my Regal. I did want to share one that I did that I am somewhat proud of. I have always hated personal electronics mounts as I feel they detract from the elegance of an automobile.
I have attached some pictures of my "custom made" mount for my Sammy GS3 in a Infuse 4G mount. I used a few of the mounts pieces but replaced the "neck" of the mount with an "L" bracket. I bolted the bracket to the ashtray to keep it close to the rest of the dash and position it how i wanted. I used a (rather long) micro usb with right angle male connectors at both ends. I have to apologize for image three's blurriness as I am new to my DSLR's manual mode.
I have read about 35 threads already and I am really impressed with the various talent and support on this site. I look forward to many more reads!
Thanks!
