New year, new adventure! Got my PTU fluid on my '19 TourX Essence changed at the dealer the week before Christmas. On the way home, got an error message saying 'Service Transmission' in the instrument cluster. This dismissed when I pushed the check button, but re-appeared and disappeared on it's own intermittently that evening. Got the car checked out again the next morning, and they said both the transmission and PTU checked out fine and the only code was related to an electronics fault in the manual mode shifter. They cleared the code and assured me it wasn't a catastrophic issue and may just never appear again.

Took the car on a ~700 mile road trip for Christmas, got back without issue, but yesterday coming back to work the car is giving me a solid CEL. So I'll be getting it checked out again on the 3rd. Just wanted to document my adventure here if it will be helpful to anyone, and see if this sounds familiar to anyone.

The car is only two years old and its throwing the money light?
You said it 🙄 frustrating. Idk what to think, like do I hope it's the dealers fault or the cars fault

Update: CEL went away on it's own after three days. Yesterday, took the car in to get looked at, they looked at the electronics suite under the shifter and they said they couldn't find a thing wrong with it. They didn't charge me, and I guess I'm happy with nothing wrong with the car, but... Weird 😂
