Greetings! New to the forum and I have a question I’m hoping to find a fix to. This may be buried in the forum but couldn’t locate a specific thread. I recently installed plug and play style LED exterior lights all around due to my night driving and poor visibility of halogens and when I got the new turn signals in both front and rear positions of my ‘15 Regal I found it hyperflashes. I thought it would be similar to my old ‘01 Ram I did this to about 4 years ago so I bought what I thought was a vehicle specific signal relay according to amazon to assist in cancelling the false signal but alas it does not fit anywhere nor does either fuse box indicate a flasher relay position. Further searching says it’s possibly a BCM fuse or the like as newer cars have done away with the old flasher relays. I’m skeptical of the BCM fuses as I know there are a few of them in the engine box not clearly stating which one is controlling which function and based on not finding anything helpful online so far. Also very old school minded and don’t like all the electronic controlled stuff nowadays. Has anybody tried this on this generation Regal like me or a newer GM vehicle and if so what corrected the hyperflash? I’d hate to be wiring resistors in and somehow mess it up and not an electrical savvy guy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
