Sound in front then rear...transmission not in sync? Is this a thing?

I have a 2018 Buick TourX, have regularly maintained it & it has low mileage. A few months ago I started hearing a sound like the front engages then the rear engages separately. Is this the transmission and is it an easy fix or something more? Thanks.

Shouldn't you take it to a qualified repair service dealer or private shop. Waiting for months can only lead to more cost. You appear to have over here also.

I'm the only owner of this car & have had it maintained. Recently there is a noise which someone said sounds like the front transmission starts then the rear catches up & they're not in sync. Is this a thing? Is it an easy fix if so? It has low mileage so I'm hoping to keep it a while, it's a great car.
