Start stop

Lesson learned.....When vehicle stopped and start stop engages......all instruments and radio go black. THen check engine light came on. Code P700 fault. Car sat for awhile and then would not crank.....battery dead. Replaced battery.....fixed everything!! 2020GX The 700 fault points to TCM. Trouble is the electronics can't work properly with low voltage.

Not really. Car electronics flake out and don't behave in a predictable manner if the battery is low or nearly dead.

You can get a little module that installs easily under the console that eliminates the Stop Start system. But you can turn it back on (who would) if you want by hitting the @ button. The company is 4D Tech, Inc. See on YouTube. $99. They have one for about every make and model.
