Hello

I've got a 2004 LeSabre with 93K mis.

My temperature gauge readings have been erratic lately.

the gauge sometimes will not go to zero (C- mark) after shut off and cool down.

and this is going to make it difficult to ever know if the car is actually over heating.

Has anyone ever had this problem before?

I'm not sure if i should be concerned about this.

thanks Jim

Most likely a bad steeper motor. Where is the needle at operating temperate? Separately, if you have the optional DIC package you can monitor your coolant temperature using the digital display.

hello, Homer

The gauge can be dead center or one to three marks toward hot. depending on where it lands when engine is cold.
