tire sizes for 72 skylark

I went to suntire the other day to ask them which size tires i should get for my 72 Buick skylark. I want the muscle car type look with some fatter tires in the back and some smaller ones up front so it looks almost like ther backs lifted a bit. He gave me the sizes 215/45/17 for the front and 225/45/17 for the back. I don't know much about tires so could you tell me if these sizes sound right for the look that I'm goin for? Preciate it
