70K miles on the TourX.

Recently took it in for an oil change.
The tech showed me a tiny leak from the transfer case output shaft (going to the driveshaft towards the rear diff).
That seal was replaced. Few days later it started to leak again. I was told the seal has failed and was fixed at no cost.

Week goes by and I'm seeing a new leak on the ground.
I go under the car and notice a leak from multiple bolts on both sides of the unit.
I don't know if this is still the transmission or the transfer case.

The prior puddle on the ground smelled as I remember rear differential fluid from my RWD car days.

This fluid now has no smell, and is somewhat red in color.

I did have the transfer case and transmission fluid changed (I want to say last year). I keep all of my receipts and have a binder. The work was done at my local Chevy dealer.

What gives?

Turns out the leak I had was from the coolant expansion tank (plastic line). It was more of a mist than a leak. Replaced the entire line.
