2022 Buick Envision Essence ST
Hi,

Just installed new winter tires and rims on my 22 Envision Essence ST. For the life of me I cannot get the tpms to re-learn. Anyone else with this issue. I have read the manual and searched the web without success. Even the tire shop with their fancy tpms re-set machine did not work. Unless they installed the wrong sensors?

Thanks in advance,

Brent G. Prince Albert, Sask. Canada.

Did you perform one of the two processes listed here?
Did they install a 315Mhz sensor?

TPMS Sensor Matching Process —
1. Auto Learn Function Each TPMS sensor has a unique identification code. The identification code needs to be matched to a new tire/wheel position after rotating the tires or replacing one or more of the TPMS sensors. When a tire is installed, the vehicle must be stationary for about 20 minutes before the system recalculates.
2. The following relearn process takes up to 10 minutes, driving at a minimum speed of 20 km/h (12 mph). A dash (-) or pressure value will display in the DIC. See Driver Information Center (DIC) 0 104. A warning message displays in the DIC if a problem occurs during the relearn process.

Yes I tried those options with no luck. Looks like they installed a universal tpms that has the 315Mhz frequency capability. My guess is they programmed them to another frequency. Will go back to tire shop tomorrow.
Looking a bit more they may have installed the incorrect sensors.☹️

You cannt program a sensor to a frequency, only install the wrong frequency.
