Transmission fluid change

I have a 2017 Regal with 62000 miles. At what point should I be changing the transmission fluid?

I'd do it now, if I were you.

When I bought my 2013, she had ~63,500 miles on her. I had the fluid changed as a precaution, but my shop showed me the fluid and it was dirty fluid. Tan colored. I'm definitely glad I did it.

Only a drain and fill is necessary; flushes can push dirt and other contaminants into passages they might not be able to get through, or passages they normally wouldn't be. But one flush shouldn't be the end of the world.

I changed mine around 55K. Had the dealer do it, drain & fill ONLY, no flush as luke said.
Will do it again at 100K

I did mine a month or two ago, I had just over 99,000 on it.
I bought the car with 88,600 miles on it, not sure the Fluid had ever been changed or not?
I'm going to change it again at my next Oil Change (last I looked I still had 50% on the oil.
I only did a Drain and Fill on the Trans Fluid, but had purchased enough Fluid for a Flush.
This way, maybe I can get some more of that old Fluid out!

I've still gotta get out there and change the Antifreeze, I've got everything
needed for a Flush sitting in the garage waiting!
Oil and Filter, Trans Fluid, and Antifreeze all awaiting my services.

drain and fill only, filter can not be remove while in vehicle only use AcDelco dextron IV. make sure you check the fluid level after you warm up transmission and the engine running, some people just fill the same amount they removed.

If you have the Aisin TF80-SC don’t use Dex VI. You need AW-1 spec oil. You can buy it for $30 a quart from the dealer or use Amsoil OE like I do. Check your manual. There is also a special procedure for changing the fluid on an Aisin.
