Hi, this is my first post on this forum, but i dont know who else to consult. I recently picked up an 02 GS with 48k miles, meticulously maintained and still looks and runs like new, however the transmission acts funny. The previous owner "preventatively" went through the transmission including:
EPC solenoid
1-2 solenoid
3-4 solenoid
Transgo accumulator
Forward servo
And a fluid flush.
He told me he used OEM parts, and did the job at home witj his GM technician friend.
Sometimes when taking off, the rpms come up, but no acceleration for a split second, until the tranny shudders and finally starts moving. Sometimes the shifts will flare and the rpms jump to 3-4k when gently accelerating before actually shifting. Other than these symptoms, the car drives fine. Im almost hesitant to drive the car since its so erratic, any advice would be great. TIA
